Susan Caba is a veteran journalist who has written for some of
the nation’s premier newspapers and magazines. Her work has appeared in
Traditional Home, American Style, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Miami Herald, St. Louis Magazine,
American Archaeology and Salon.com. She is now freelancing, dividing her time between St. Louis and Santa Barbara.
She often writes about the arts, popular culture and the built environment—or,
as she likes to say, “stuff and houses”—but can tackle the most complicated story with ease, then deliver a clear and engaging account.
She knows how to reach audiences with
compelling stories whether the topic is the lifestyle of the continent’s first urbanites, the search for the perfect purse or
an expedition in pursuit of a rare South American bird.
